You can optimize a simple photo by:

• Call the image what it is, example, if you have a picture of a flower, do not leave the picture named by a camera, the picture should be renamed to say… red_roses_in_full_bloom.jpg.
• Title and caption for an image.
• Images can have code or option for images so the description shows on a mouse called an “alt” tag or hover text.
• You can also make it a link to a high ranking source or internal link to another page or part. In this case, I linked it to a reliable well-ranked authority on the subject and in return gives me credit for the link to their site. This is called quality links.
